The Cass County Historical & Genealogical Society has compiled Cass County, Illinois––175th Anniversary History and Families, a new book celebrating 175 years of history, including our county, communities and families!
This publication is unique in that it has been written by Cass County people, giving emphasis to the importance of families in our heritage. This commemorative “coffee-table” book featuring the history of Cass County and her citizens will contain material from before 1837 (when the county was founded) through 2012.
This hardback, archive-quality, smyth-sewn 8-1/2 x 11-inch book will be beautifully bound in a swirl-grained, hunter green leatherette cover with a gold foil-stamped seal of the old courthouse on the front cover, and gold on the spine. This book will be in libraries and offices across the county, state and USA. It will be a family heirloom that can be handed down from generation to generation.
