Next year, 2013, marks the 40th Anniversary of DEA. To celebrate this historic event, DEA has joined forces with Acclaim Press to produce a library quality, full-color hardbound book that will document the agency’s remarkable history and honor the men and women to continue to protect our country.
Ask anyone who has been a member of DEA what he or she liked most about their job and the response you will hear most often is, “the people I worked with.” Since its inception in 1973, the DEA has engendered that sense of family among our employees that lives on today.
This exciting new book will include a detailed history of DEA from 1973-2013, including major events, tools of the trade, and how things have changed over the years; Past Administrators and Current Leadership; Programs and Operations; Group photos by Division and Unit; Personal experience stories by active staff and retirees; Wall of Honor – Tribute to Employees Killed in the Line of Duty; Hundreds of historic and full-color modern photos; DEA Museum, Retiree Roster, and more!
9x12-inch, hardbound “coffee-table” volume, printed in full-color with the agency’s badge embossed on the front cover
