Book Description

In commemoration of the ongoing legacy of the 1st Cavalry Division, the 1st Cavalry Division Association has released a new book, History of the 1st Cavalry Division Association & Its Veterans, that provides a detailed history of the “First Team” and feature biographical narratives of the men and women who have served our country since 1921.

Acclaim Press, one of our nation’s leading publishers of commemorative history books, was commissioned to oversee this landmark project, and the book has been written by a team of our Association’s most prominent historians.

In addition to the 1st Cav’s glorious history, this exciting book features a special section showcasing biographies of 1st Cavalry veterans, with “then and now” photographs, and 1st Cav veterans are invited to participate.

Our book features veterans from all eras, from the early days leading up to World War II, to the deserts of the Middle East and our on-going War on Terror.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will also help other communities and organizations preserve their history through Our American Heritage Project, a non-profit organization.
