Book Description

The state of Indiana is known world-wide for auto racing, basketball, and manufacturing, but “the crossroads of America” is quickly gaining attention for its quality wines and vineyards. In “Wineing Your Way Across Indiana,” author Becky Kelley travels across the Hoosier State in search of the region’s best wineries. This book was created to spotlight all the wonderful wineries of Indiana and the wide array of vintages available.

Some of the wineries have full menus of Indiana delicacies, several offer tours and outdoor activities, and many want to assist in creating unique experiences for special events. Whether or not they host events and how many they can accommodate is noted on each winery’s page, along with a description of their selection and vintages. Most importantly, all of them want to facilitate good times with wonderful people, and an appreciation of Indiana crafted wines.

“Wineing Your Way Across Indiana” is the perfect guide to all the beautiful wineries available right here, in Indiana.

About the Author and Photographers

Becky Kelley
Author Becky Kelley has been a freelance writer since 2003 and published in many magazines, newspapers, and anthologies. In addition, she has won several writing competitions and taught English and writing at the college level. She has a self-published children’s book, “A Tail of Christmas.” Her first non-fiction book, “Wineing Your Way Across Kentucky,” was published by Acclaim Press in April of 2015. Becky is currently working on a true crime mystery with two writing friends, Jean Kinsey and Diane Theiler. She also has a mystery series in production. A lifelong Bullitt Countian, she graduated from North Bullitt High School, Spalding University, and The University of Louisville, respectively. She lives by the motto, “Learn something new every day.”

Molly Kelley
“Wineing Your Way Across Indiana” is the first book project for back-up photographer Molly Kelley, but she has had a love of the arts her entire life. She’s won awards at both the state and national level for her writing and photography, and is working on a children’s book specifically for autistic individuals. Molly believes that peoples’ love of arts can help anyone find common ground. She’s unsure of what direction this new adventure will take her, but she’s excited to see where it goes. She lives with her soon to be husband, Tyler, three cats, Oliver, Six, (for his six toes) and Wednesday, and one hamster, Kahlua. She’s a graduate of North Bullitt High School and has plans to take classes to further her knowledge of photography.

Kathy Woodhouse
Kathy Woodhouse, photographer of “Wineing Your Way Across Kentucky” and “Wineing Your Way Across Indiana,” has been photographing professionally for more than three decades. Her experience has spanned a myriad of styles including studio, retail, and managing multi-unit retail where she taught photography, managed personnel, and trained studio management. Amongst her many accolades, Kathy was named National Sears Portrait Studio Manager of the Year. In addition, her work was featured on NBC’s Today Show, December 13, 2013. For the last decade, Kathy has owned her own studio and worked as a freelance photojournalist, marketing her work at various galleries and retail outlets in Kentucky. Kathy is a proud native of Kentucky and Bullitt County and is a graduate of North Bullitt High School. She also attended Elizabethtown Community College and is certified in both photography and Graphic Arts.
