Award-winning writer Susan Reigler, author of Kentucky Bourbon Country: The Essential Travel Guide, The Complete Guide to Kentucky State Parks, and co-author of The Kentucky Bourbon Cocktail Book and The Bourbon Tasting Notebook, was born in Louisville. From 1992 to 2007, Reigler was restaurant critic, beverage columnist, and travel writer for the Louisville Courier-Journal. Currently she is a contributing writer to Bourbon+, American Whiskey Magazine, LEO Weekly and is the bourbon columnist for Food & Dining. Reigler is a past president of the Bourbon Women Association and current president of the Kentucky chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International.
