Ronald J. Guilmette joined the Massachusetts State Police in 1968. After graduating from the State Police Academy, he was assigned to Troop “C” Worcester County. He later saw assignment in the Criminal Information Bureau Narcotics Section, the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, Troop “A”, and as Captain/Troop Commander at Troop “F”, Logan International Airport. He was promoted to Major and Lt. Colonel, retiring in 1999. He has been an active member and past president of the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center. He and his wife Ann Marie are the proud parents of four children and six grandchildren.
