397th Bomb Group

Follow the exploits of the men of the 397th Bomb Group, who flew the Martin B-26 Marauder in missions throughout World War II. Researched and written by members of the 397th Bomb Group Association, this book is a collection of numerous documents and stories written by men who served with the 397th from the time of its inception in 1943 through the end of the war. The book also includes a listing of decorations, awards and their recipients, plus a complete casualty roster (KIA, MIA, WIA) from the group listed by squadron (596th BS, 597th BS, 598th BS, and 599th BS).
