Indiana Volunteer Firefighter’s Association 75th Anniversary

The Indiana Volunteer Firefighter’s Association is proud to announce that work has begun on an all new commemorative history book to celebrate IVFA’s upcoming 75th Anniversary. This hardbound collector’s quality will include hundreds of photographs, memories, and department histories that fully illustrate what it means to be a member of the Indiana firefighting family.

What better way to capture IVFA’s proud past and promising future than through a collection of pictures and information that, combined, tell the story of this great association and of the people who made it what it is today? The publisher and the yearbook committee are dedicated to making the anniversary yearbook a comprehensive and professional publication which all our members, active and retired, will be proud to own.

This 9×12-inch, red hardbound book will be printed in full-color and contain hundreds of historic and modern photos of civilian and uniformed personnel. It will also include individual biographical profiles of our members, group photos, and much more!

We Need Your Help
This commemorative book is about you! To make it as inclusive as possible, we are asking you to contribute by sending in your personal biography along with two photos, one from your early days in the fire service, plus a recent photo. In celebration of the IVFA’s 75th anniversary, we are asking all of our member departments to complete and submit the form below for the Department Section of the book. You may also submit photographs related to volunteer firefighting—action shots and group photos will be accepted, plus personal accounts and stories for consideration. Your stories, which will portray the diversity of the IVFA, can be related to alarms, training, special events or other activities. This book is only being sold to IVFA members and their families. Since the anniversary yearbook will be a limited edition publication, the number of books printed will be based upon the number of copies ordered in advance.
