Kansas Century Farms

In commemoration of the rich history of the Kansas Century Farm program, the Kansas Farm Bureau is sponsoring a new book, Kansas Historic Farms, celebrating our award-winning Century Farms. Acclaim Press, one of our nation’s leading publishers of commemorative history books, has been commissioned to oversee this landmark project, and the book is being written by a team of Kansas’s most prominent historians.

This exciting book will also feature a special section showcasing our Kansas award-winning farms, Century Farm Award roster, plus a detailed look at the development of Kansas farming through the years. In this era of constant change, maintaining a family farm for 100 years or more is unique and to be celebrated and documented for future generations to enjoy. There has never been anything like this published in Kansas, and it will truly be a monumental project.
