Caldwell County, Kentucky

Pictorial - Bicentennial Edition

Retail Price: $49.95

This large hardbound volume, containing 288 pages, with hundreds of photographs commemorates the bicentennial of Caldwell County and is the result of a county-wide effort spanning many months. The Caldwell County Pictorial History Committee sponsored the book project with Judy Boaz serving as chairperson. There are more than 1,600 photographs included in the book featuring families, historical events, communities, families, churches, schools, early transportation, agriculture and businesses. The project was designed to help preserve photographs for the enjoyment and education of future generations and serve as a companion volume to the family history book previously done.

The history book is a large, library-quality, 8 1/2 x 11-inch “coffee-table” size edition with smyth-sewn bindings for durability and acid-free paper for longevity. The cover has a rich grained dark green background, with a gold seal representing Caldwell County’s heritage embossed on the front.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will also help other communities and organizations preserve their history through Our American Heritage Project, a non-profit organization.
