Cape Girardeau Country Club Centennial – The First 100 Years: 1921-2021

Retail Price: $45.00

The history told here is a story of a non-profit cooperative association of Cape Girardeans who joined together a century ago to create a Country Club dedicated to social activities for the betterment of our city. The portrait painted is in the form of a mosaic consisting of contributions of individual members and the tales of those who chose to serve and share for the common good of all. The Club’s very existence can be traced to the town’s desire to preserve the iconic Cape Rock. Our founders transformed a barren field into a golf links and clubhouse that majestically overlooks the mighty Mississippi River creating a treasure worth preserving. The Club has always been unselfishly passed along from generation to generation leaving a legacy to those that will follow into the Second Century.
