Vietnam Studies – Mobile Riverine Operations 1966-69

A direct reprint of the 1972 U.S. Army account of U.S. Riverine Operations in Vietnam.

The author, Major Gen. William B. Fulton, was a developer of the modern riverine warfare concept and commander of the 2nd Brigade, 9th Infantry Division in the Mekong Delta, then in Dong Tam. Later the Brigade teamed with Navy Task Force 117 to form the Mobile Riverine Force, America’s Brown Water Navy.
