U.S Marine Corps Drill Instructors

The WCDIA and ECDIA is pleased to announce the release of a new book to document the history and role of Marine Corps Drill Instructors across the nation and their role in training disciplined and physically fit Marines, both yesterday and today.

In addition to a detailed history of the USMC recruit training and the USMC Drill Instructor School, this exciting book featurea a special section showcasing biographies of WCDIA and ECDIA members with “then and now” photographs.

Our book features veterans from all eras, from World War II, to the jungles of Southeast Asia, Iraq and Afghanistan, and other conflicts across the globe. Note: all former Drill Instructors are encouraged to participate, even those who were active in peacetime — all served with honor and distinction. The book also includes special after action reports, stories and photographs from the membership.
